Note: Yes, before you ask, I know that a photo of either Flag of Macha would be better than mere portraits of the historical events. But there's none in Commons, nor in Flicker or Google searching by licence, and of course the Museum will not allow a camera anywhere near it. MBelgrano (talk) 21:48, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Current?[edit]

Isn't that the current flag of Argentina? Why is it listed as the 'first flag' on the homepage? Robbinski12 (talk) 09:15, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Read again. It says "the first physical flags", meaning, not as a concept but the first tangible object. We can draw a comparison with the difference between the Christian cross and the True Cross, if it helps to understand the difference MBelgrano (talk) 16:32, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

More Images[edit]

I found some images on Argentinian government website that includes more images of both flags of Macha, along with images of attempts to restore the flags. Thought they could be of use, though my biggest concern was probably copyright issues so wanted to know if they were clear for use in the article. I also found a paper from 2019 talking about restoration of the flags by first identifying the materials and exact hues of the flags Marace Bot (talk) 01:52, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
