"canting"[edit]

It would be "canting" if it showed two tridents, for barba-dos. It isn't necessarily canting just for showing a trident. A reference substantiating this is needed. --dab (𒁳) 12:17, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Flag of Barbados

5x expanded by PCN02WPS (talk). Self-nominated at 05:34, 5 July 2022 (UTC).[reply]

  • I can verify that a 5x expansion has been done and no close paraphrasing was found. All the hooks are cited inline and verified, but I think ALT1 is the best option here due to its quirkiness. ALT2 is also solid, but I think the "fabric from a department store" fact is more surprising. I suggest dropping all other options. QPQ has been done and the image is usable. GTG. @PCN02WPS: 7-day hold, though this should not take even seven minutes to remove two commas and add alt text to the images. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 03:22, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Sammi Brie, many thanks for the quick review - commas have been removed (thanks for the link to the "commas in sentences" page; that is a much clearer way of looking at it) and alt text has been added for all 11 images on the page. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 03:40, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You're the first nominator to see it, @PCN02WPS. I created it because I was saying the same thing over and over and ooooooover again in the GANs I've been reviewing of late. Glad it helped. Will pass. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 03:43, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
