Free image?[edit]

If someone could actually get a picture of the flag for the article about the flag, that would really improve it. I'll see if I can find a free image, but if anyone else knows of one then it'd be good to add it MechaChrist (talk) 16:39, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder if the flag image is free. If it was never copyrighted, there is a good chance that is in the public domain. However, we'd need to get some information about that first. Regards, Illegitimate Barrister (talk) 23:39, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I've re-added the flag and added a fair use rationale to the image page, although I can't seem to find the flag online from, or with 100% certainty identify, the flag's copyright holders. The image originally listed the "CDC of Annandale, Virginia" which the original uploader seems to mean the Annandale Chamber of Commerce, the closest thing the census-designated place has to a government (so apparently we can't use § 313.6(C)(1) like the flag of Richmond does). Here is the chamber's website; I haven't been able to find the flag there however. 93 07:55, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
