Talk:Fire sand bucket

I'd like to move this page to Fire bucket (and expand it) as the term Fire sand bucket is too selective. Not all fire buckets are for sand only - and even the sign in the picture used for this article says 'These buckets must be kept full of water.'

Any objections? Obscurasky (talk) 20:42, 7 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have an extensive background in fire protection and building history in the U.S. and have not heard of fire sand buckets before. These must not be an American tool or at least were extremely rare in the U.S. Fire buckets for water in the U.S. were historically very common (required in many places). I think the extent on an article focused only on fire sand buckets will never be much more than a stub. I think combining this article with fire bucket is a good idea.
