Side effects?[edit]

The article in one section says "had no obvious side effects" and in another says "had serious side effects". This could use some... details!

Why is a a Russian favipiravir brand a separate article on Wikipedia?[edit]

For some reason a Russian favipiravir brand (https://www.eapteka.ru/goods/drugs/antiviral/protiv_koronavirusa/koronavir/) is a separate article in Wikipedia: Coronavir . It's pack and bottle state "favipiravir" quite clearly. --Bstard12 (talk) 02:07, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, in the photograph of the product you can see the text Favipiravir (200mg).

How do people in Russia buy it? How do they get the prescription or is it available over-the-counter?

I agree that the two articles should be merged. Coronavir is a brand of favipiravir (see for example https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8661194/). There shouldn't be two articles on the same subject. Marbletan (talk) 15:45, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
