I personally think that most of this article is correct except for the fact that although this is a market with plenty of diversity, the main focus is for young people rather than in the past years we have catered to an older generation. From the stands changing what they are selling to people inquiring new tastes to the food all around us the Saturday Market is a place for all young individuals. Along with that I feel that many of the people who are performing in the streets or on the stage at the market are all changing their style of music to what the modern generations enjoy. According to this article, " Currently, there are over 700 members of the Eugene Saturday Market. About 300 of these members are active vendors who regularly sell crafts or food at the market. Members pay an annual $40 fee. On Saturdays, vendors pay $10 to rent an eight-foot by eight-foot booth or $5 for a four-foot by four-foot booth. Vendors must also pay ten percent of their sales revenue to the Saturday Market.[6][15][17]".
