History[edit]

In the history portion of your article you may want to consider removing your attribution to the New York Times. As you cite the times through the citation tools,you might not have to repeat it. Labeling of group[edit]

The source you cited is not about this topic, it's an opinion piece about the American Community Survey. We only use sources about the topic, not sources about other topics. Finally, we have no reason to label Media Matters for America as "progressive" as it is entirely irrelevant. This has been explained to you before. Viriditas (talk) 09:50, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Equality Matters describes itself as associated with Media Matters for America and since both are political advocacy groups, it's entirely fair game to describe the political leanings of not just Equality Matters, but also Media Matters for America. The very notion that you consider Wikipedia articles "fair game" to inject your chosen bias is absurd. The source you cited isn't about Equality Matters, and we don't spoon feed our readers. Why are you adding "progresive" to MMFA over and over again? Which source about Equality Matters highlights this importance? Viriditas (talk) 22:02, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The nature of your edits is telling of the ridiculousness of your bias; you have a problem with edits pointing out the political orientation of MMFA, but have no problem with the current edit (neutrally) describing MMFA as a "media watchdog group" even though description of MMFA would have nothing to do with this article. As stated above, Equality matters explicitly associated itself with a political advocacy group so identifying the political orientation of Equality Matters is entirely within Wikipedia editing guidelines. The article is sourced well and unbiased. The listed staff is not sourced though. More information could definitely benefit here and there may be more out there because much time has passed.
