This article shows the need for Nodal in the epiblast of a mouse embryo in order to establish anterior-posterior patterning. It shows that Nodal signaling helps to process the cell-sorting in the epiblast that occurs before gastrulation to make the axis. I think this would help the page because it details the role of the epiblast in differentiation. T1d7 (talk) 00:03, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

is thiis a joke?[edit]

Beneath the picture of the article it says "Section through the embryo. (Epiblast visible but not labeled.)". You basically have a picture that's supposed to convey to you information regarding the position of the epiblast with respect to its surroundings, yet the epiblast, which is the title of the article, isn't labeled. What use is it then?
