– Per WP:PRECISE. The "Liu" is added to the name "Song dynasty" only because it has to be differentiated from the Zhao Song dynasty (960–1279), but between individual emperors there is no such need. Zhao Song emperors are referred to by their temple names (Taizu, Gaozong, etc.) while either personal names or posthumous names (Emperor Wu, Emperor Wen, etc.) are used for Liu Song emperors. Another problem is that adding "Liu" everywhere may mislead readers to think that "Liu Song" is the standard or official name of the dynasty while in fact it is just one of the ways to "disambiguate". Support- the Liu Song dynasty actually called itself Song, "Liu" was added later for disambiguation. However, as the emperors' names do not overlap with emperors of the later Song dynasty, they don't need to be disambiguated by adding Liu. -Zanhe (talk) 19:20, 7 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
