Is this your translation? Shouldn't the German read "zur Erinnerung an..." for this translation? I interpret "für ... von" as the standard dedication of a gift that would normally translate as "for ... from" or "to ... from". The English article by Steblin says "as a remembrance of", which is in line with the existing translation, so I must be wrong. Jmar67 (talk) 12:42, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Looking closer, perhaps we could do better for "zur Erinnerung", - at present we translate "in Erinnerung", - he wants her to remember him, rather than he remembers her. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:06, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
