IPA

The IPA given for the Norwegian pronunciation was in a non-standard southern or south-western Norwegian dialect, and had the highly controversial [mʉŋk]-pronunciaton, which isn't used in any Norwegian dialects, but insisted on by his distant Munch-Ellingsen relatives. Munch himself said muŋk, according to people who knew him. I've changed it into standard Eastern Norwegian pronunciation, as he used himself. Sowilō (talk) 10:23, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
