Old talk[edit]

He tried to hijack a plane and that eventually 'opened the doors of emigration to thousands of Soviet Jews'? Oh really? How about it gave KGB a good pretext to clamp down on all Jewish activities in Russia? Besides hijacking a plane is a criminal act no matter the reasons in any country. The article in its present form makes him look like a hero.

Please point out where we stray away from WP:NPOV.
On your other points: The participants were accused in high treason, which is a political and not a criminal charge. And the KGB was rather famous for creating pretexts when they needed. ←Humus sapiens ну? 06:28, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why does this translate into Eduard rather than Edward?24.131.12.228 22:47, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AFAIK, it is the most widespread spelling. ←Humus sapiens ну? 06:28, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Concerning the french literature award: It is "gallimar award" not "Gulliver award". Or is there a hidden joke?
