Informal Language[edit]

Should the term 'brown-noser' really be in an encyclopaedia entry? 86.153.153.81 (talk) 19:27, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Don't merge[edit]

Eddie Haskell has an identity that has come to transcend the show. The points mentioned below make great sense. PatriciaT 20:22, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Don't merge. Keeping them separate maintains the clarity, readability and thoroughness of each article, also the comment listed below is a strong reason. BLBaker 03:15, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I say leave it as a separate article, as it is frequently used as a label for a certain kind of behavior. 74s181 12:34, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Don't merge. I agree with the above three comments. Although generally, discussion of TV/Movie/Book/etc characters belong within the main article, Eddie has a separate cultural presence that deserves an article apart from the TV series. I've heard of Eddie Haskell referred to separately. BTW, I took out the extra "Don't merge" section headers. Becksguy 02:13, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not encyclopedic[edit]

I don't believe this page is of encyclopedic quality. To be specific, I don't believe "weaselly wise guy," should be used in an article. This part doesn't seem encyclopedic either: "However, when no parents were around, Eddie was always up to no good—either conniving with his friends or picking on Wally's younger brother, Beaver" --Kangaroo692 (talk) 01:26, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

What is a "third member"?[edit]

In the paragraph "Character overview", it is stated, "...One of his [Eddie's] most infamous pranks ... involved fastening a chain around the rear axle of their friend ...Rutherford's car, causing unplanned damage as the entire third member and wheels became detached when he tried to move the car..." I have searched many dictionaries, but can't find a thing about "third member". 68.35.173.107 (talk) 19:56, 4 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Eddie Haskell Effect[edit]

Would do you think about adding a new section or possibly squeezing the "Eddie Haskell effect" somewhere in this article. There are a few articles written about it, but nothing on Wikipedia. Andrewbdporter (talk) 14:19, 23 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
