Fair use rationale for Image:EC TheDevilYouKnow Canada.jpg

Image:EC TheDevilYouKnow Canada.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Winnipeg/Vancouver Formation.

It's evident that Hurst was originally from Winnipeg and the others from Seattle... Also I don't see it sourced anywhere the band originated from Vancouver, and while "word of mouth"/"original research" doesn't count for much, they've referred to Winnipeg as their home in concerts... It's not "evident" in any way. They don't have huge Winnipeg stickers on them. It has to be sourced just like everything. This source, listed in the article, states while Hurst is from Winnipeg, the band's based in Vancouver: As the Vancouver-based brainchild of Winnipeg rocker Trevor Hurst, EC saw their star rise with... Providing additional citations, etc.

Hello Wikipedia editors,

As part of a class assignment for my library science degree, I edited this page in an attempt to provide citations where prompted. I'm a Wikipedia editing n00b so my citations may not be perfect, but I tried to find unbiased sources as best I could.

Example: The release date for their album, Ignite, was taken from Brian Fitz's webpage. Since he was a band member at the time, I assume he is a reliable source for the release date. I suppose he could be wrong, but that's the best primary source I could find.

I also added some citations for the Juno Awards, some tour dates in 2008 and 2010, and added a recent (2017) event that seems to imply that the band has broken up or is on hiatus (since Hurst has gone back to school and is working as a full time nurse). I don't follow the band, so I honestly don't know for sure.

Anyway, if you find anything I posted that doesn't meet the current bar of Wikipedia's expectations, feel free to change it back. Also, I did not take down the "needs additional citations" banner since I'm not sure if my work is sufficient. I'll leave that up to the next editor.
