Reads like an Advert[edit]

I agree. You should have seen it before; I tried to add more background and factual stuff, but didn't really want to engage in an edit war with anyone else over removing the POV stuff. The website history timeline forgets all about executive order 10450[edit]

Folks:

I notice that the timeline interactive exhibit on the website for the memorial completely omitted mention of Eisenhower's issue of Executive Order 10450, which ruined the lives of many of my LGBTQ brothers and sisters.

Allyn, You will have to find sources that connect the memorial specifically with that EO but you might want to make go instead to coverage (or more coverage) in the bio or presidency articles -- this article does not actually discuss much, if any, of the details of his presidency, nor his army life, nor his biography. Yes, you are correct. The executive order is mentioned in the main article on Ike. What I wanted to try to point out (and please pardon me if it is inappropriate) that the memorial and it's website are incomplete because they do not mention this executive order that has severely and negatively impacted our LGBTQ community.Allyn (talk) 01:30, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
