About notability: try to google "Jackson type inequality" - it's about 920 000 pages. Author of such famous inequality surely should be in Wikipedia. If needed, I can found referenced for his papers.

It needs some citation that Dunham Jackson is the same person. However, I see that he won the Chauvenet Prize in 1935, so I agree he is notable. I'll add this to the article. — Tivedshambo (talk) 15:52, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
