New Edits to the Article[edit]

Hello ! I have recently been assigned a project in school to research and edit an existing Wikipedia article ! I have chosen this article on the Drumming behaviour in snipe, as the material was not too developed. Before adding my research to the live article, I removed some of the references (they were originally listed as references 2, 5 and 6) as they had no reliable or scholarly sources to support their claims. In terms of changes made to the lead paragraph, though some of the information was similar to what I included, I changed them to better reflect the newly added material from my research. As well, there were some sentences in the lead paragraph that I chose to remove because they were not included anywhere else in the article - the purpose of the lead paragraph is to summarize the main points of content throughout a Wikipedia article. I look forward to hearing any feedback on the changes I have made to further develop this article and I welcome any comments or critiques. Thank you, and happy researching !
