Wikipedia's policies frown on using "Primary Sources" - information written by the person who is the subject of the article (or by someone on their behalf).

The original article was tagged appropriately for using phrases that are typically used to make exaggerated claims - I've replaced those sections with sources that present an objective basis of determining the signifcance of the article subject's body of work. Just the facts, please.StreamingRadioGuide 00:12, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The changes I made to replace the weasel words with sourced facts has been reverted by an anonymous user. I'm changing it back to the version with sourced facts. If you disagree with the facts or the requirement for a neutral POV, add in more facts - don't start a reversion war as an anonymous user.StreamingRadioGuide 00:46, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Undoing anonymous reversion *again*.StreamingRadioGuide 22:33, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reference links points to interview with Urbanski that lists his age as 47 in 2006.

Wiki page lists date of year of birth 1957, which would make him 49 in 2006.

Doug Urbanski on the radio[edit]

Today, Doug Urbanski is substituting for Conservative Rush Limbaugh via his nationally syndicated radio show, noon to 3pm ET. If you are interested you can read transcripts and highlights. [1] Here are my brief notes from the first of 15 segments:

I produce motion pictures — don’t hate me. What is a motion picture? It can be the sum total of current emotion and thought. “When we test a pilot, you ask ten of your friends, but is your job to figure out the 11th thing they are not telling you, after they give you ten different answer.”

April 1986, I was at a private dinner with Lady Margaret Thatcher and her husband. We went to theatre and then to a private dinner for six. We stayed up talking till 2am in the morning. In London, the prime minister calls another election whenever they want, to their advantage.

She was telling us when and why she would call the next election. She never lost an election and finally resigned. Part of it was how to size up to your opponent; talk to them; talk to the people; and going over the heads of the media.

There was something special that night in 1986. The word ‘Libya’ came: the French, Spanish, and Portuguese had decided we could not fly US planes to attack Omar Kaddafi. Ronald Reagan arranged permission with England.

>>> We took decisive action and avoided a similar mess from today. [2]

[Doug Urbanski is doing a great job, very informative and entertaining, on the radio today.] Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 17:44, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
