Article name[edit]

The references and the actor's official website all spell this name without the n. See doughutchison.com, IMDB etc. Tassedethe (talk) 18:34, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This appears to have been corrected. note, his "official" website is not in existence at this time. (I hate the use of "official" for sites that are not connected to agencies that have official standing, such as govts and police depts.)(mercurywoodrose)75.61.138.151 (talk) 16:34, 16 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Courtney Stodden[edit]

Why does Courtney Stodden redirect here? I want information about her, not somebody related. If she doesn't have her own article and someone looks for her, he'll find this article anyway even if there is no redirection. Right now this is confusing imo. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.134.179.223 (talk) 12:59, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hmm... this comment has a lot of merit. While Stodden's initial publicity was entirely linked to her relationship with Hutchison, she's gotten more than her fair share of individual publicity since then. I think that there is probably enough of an argument to where she could merit her own article. I'll try to work on this later, but it might take me a while to find sources that can show notability apart from her famous husband.20:47, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
  • Alright folks, it might be time to swallow your Wiki pride (and in most cases egos) and create a page for Courtney Stodden. She is now step up to launch her own reality show in addition to the list of "media" that she has blessed us with thus far. She's been feature on International new segments and most recently, CNN's Anderson Cooper discussed her in great length. Jason Gaudet (talk) 11:39, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Movies and TV Show Citations[edit]

Should citations be given for the movies he was in and tv shows he was in?--PaulBustion88 (talk) 16:40, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

High school and acting career[edit]

I have rewritten the section about DH's high school, including his acting appearances and his connection to popular drama coach Dennis Swanson (RIP). I will say here that Swanson and DH were pretty close, and Swanson had an openly high regard for DH's acting talent. For the curious, DH and well-known Minnesota artist Robert "Bob" Bonawitz were quite close in high school, as well. Bonawitz's first paying job as an artist was the design of the Equus program cover (a copy of which, alas, I do not have).

I have also provided more detail about his starring role in Equus, which I think will be of interest to his fans. Most of this is based on my personal recollection as his friend, and from having seen the production in question.

I have linked to images in my own web space of the Equus program to document his role and the dates the show ran. There cannot be any question that this is fair use, but I don't have the fortitude to stare Wikimedia down on the issue of "fair use." If someone else wishes to use my scans and upload the images themselves to Wikimedia, feel free. I place my scans (not the underlying content) in the public domain.

Comments about this material welcome. (Please note that I have not been in touch with DH for some decades, so don't ask.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jdbaldwin (talkcontribs) 01:24, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stodden’s gender[edit]

I'm not trying to be "that guy", but since other Wiki articles seem to take this seriously, I'm going to add that Stodden is "they/them".
