I think that this page should be merged with "Disk Mill". 'Disk' seems to be a more common spelling than 'Disc', so I put my entry in "Disk Mill".

'Disc Mill' has "about 19,000" hits on Google, compared with "about 737" for 'Disk Mill'. Although Wictionary and m-w.com both agree that 'disk' is the main spelling while 'disc' is the (mainly US) variant. -- MSchmahl 23:15, 16 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Another question, does copyright law still apply on very old patents? I found a good diagram of a disk mill on the patent office website from 1876. Would that be acceptable on wikipedia?

I'm pretty sure that this is now in the public domain. ike9898 21:54, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Strictly, I don't think this US pat describes a disk mill - it's a crushing mill with a cylinder-within-a-cylinder —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.112.232.21 (talk) 08:05, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Attrition mill[edit]

Is this the same thing as an attrition mill? I saw one website that claimed they mean the same thing, but I'm not sure. ike9898 21:54, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
