To do[edit]

We need a list of opponents, and the reasons (if any) they give for their opposition. Balancing this ought to be a list of defenders, along with their (stated) reasons. --Uncle Ed (talk) 17:34, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My suggestion is that there is no need for a separate article on this issue. Especially as the current content appears to be a statement that there is "controversy" followed by a series of statements all making the case that dioxin is toxic, and a second hand report that Dow Chemicals don't agree. Current consensus reports from the US EPA, the WHO and the IARC as to the toxic nature of dioxin could also be added, with very little dissent from any source. The current information on dioxins on wikipedia is a bit of a mess at present, and it is hoped to try and group all the information on dioxins as an environmental/human toxin under the article [[1]] as a hub. I think the information on Dow could fit there easily enough.Arthurbagwaste (talk) 08:23, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Agree, so I'll now merge the contents to Dioxins and dioxin-like compounds. Mikael Häggström (talk) 07:34, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
