What the article needs[edit]

There are lots and lots of inline citations now, so I have removed the "more footnotes" tag. What the article really needs is some analysis. As a reader I'd want to know why he is frequently honoured, why he is called on as consultant etc., why he has been chosen as government minister. There's no explanation of any of that as yet. Greetings. It appears that what you rightly demand of the article cannot be found in appropriate sources. -The Gnome (talk) 22:34, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Greetings in return! Yes, I think you're right.
The backstory to my questions is that I write brief bios of current politicians on the Latin Vicipaedia. Lacking some explanations here, and not finding them elsewhere, I never did this one ... He's resigned as minister now, so the matter becomes a little more academic. So does he, probably. Andrew Dalby 16:42, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
