Title[edit]

The Neue Bach-Ausgabe calls this Der Geist hilft unsrer Schwachheit auf, which was the original title of this article. Why has it been moved to a title without the first "r" in "unsrer"? -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 12:27, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I was bold and moved it back, according to NBA, scores and - it seems - Bach's hand, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:38, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This was done in error. It is the Alte Bach-Ausgabe of 1892, which has the modernized title "Der Geist hilft unsrer Schwachheit auf" [1]. The Neue Bach-Ausgabe has in fact the title "Der Geist hilft unser Schwachheit auf" [2], which according to NBA's critical report is indeed according to Bach's hand. --FordPrefect42 (talk) 20:07, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
