Notability?[edit]

Would being a Deputy Lieutenant convey WP:Notability?

Compensated?[edit]

Generally speaking, when people are describing a job position, the monetary compensation would at least be mentioned. Since it is not mentioned in the entry, the reader can only assume that people in deputy lieutenant positions are not paid any salary or other compensation. Regardless, it ought to be clear from reading this article whether or not a deputy lieutenant in the UK is a paid position or an entirely ceremonial role offered and accepted without any monetary compensation. 167.102.231.183 (talk) 21:53, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
