Red Deer NOT Native[edit]

Although red deer existed in Ireland before the ice age, DNA evidence from the University of Dublin strongly suggests that the current red deer population of Ireland were brought to Ireland by Neolithic people from Great Britain over 5000 years ago. Therefore they should not be listed as native.
