American character actor Richard Devon died at 84 years of age, on February 26, 2010. He died from vascular desease and was born in 1926 and not 1931, as IMDB and many other sources haved claimed. I have added him on the recent deaths page with the only reliable source I could find, "Western Clippings". His death is also mentioned on various blogs and forums like "Final Horrors Farewell" and "Western Boot Hill". I have even found a forum, "Old West Western Forum" [1], where many of Devons friends discuss his passing and career. However, Wikipedia does not accept forums and blogs as sources. Does anyone out have any other reliable information and/or sources, like an obituary? Could someone perhaps create an article about him? He seems to have been relatively well known. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.69.14.94 (talk) 10:50, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to say Mr Michaels died in December, not recently. If you view the YouTube video given in the citation link it states that it is from a broadcast in December. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.153.49.143 (talk) 06:38, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, death confirmed at [2]. Entry removed. WWGB (talk) 07:04, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. It's funny that even a Google search can make something that is 3 months old look current. :( Ed (talk) 17:03, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I think Max Whitehead, a former professional rugby league player in Australia should be listed here but he doesn't seem to have an article. Can he be added? Here is a link to his death report: [3]. Thanks --Wikitoov (talk) 07:44, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If he's notable enough to have an article (even if it doesn't exist yet) then by all means add him here as a redlink, but if the article still doesn't exist in a month, it'll be removed. You might like to add him here and then start an article on him if you have the time, but you don't have to. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 07:55, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your help. I'll try to start an article on him in the next few days. --Wikitoov (talk) 09:39, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that an article was created for Choi Jin-young using the spelling Choi Jin-yeong. A redirect has already been applied. However, the difference in spelling bothers me. Every English-language reference spells Choi's name the same as it's spelled on this page: Choi Jin-young. Any comments? Ed (talk) 13:14, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I agree. I fully realise that the 'English' translation of 'Chinese' characters is open to some misinterpretation, BUT Cho Jin-young does apppear to be the norm. I think the article needs to be re-directed accordingly. Thanks, Derek R Bullamore (talk) 00:16, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Does anybody have proof of Tom Burton being dead? 209.2.60.83 (talk) 19:57, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pro wrestler Tom Burton dead, wrestled as part of The Dirty White Boys tag team. WWGB (talk) 23:07, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
So, why is he not on the list? And why is his death not mentioned and referenced in the Tom Burton article? 209.2.60.83 (talk) 16:31, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Simply because no one has done the edit. Why not have a go yourself? Derek R Bullamore (talk)
Already there, see 29 March. WWGB (talk) 23:09, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
