Possibly wrong source[edit]

"The film was shown in the US sector of West Germany, according to the narrative of Night Will Fall". I might be wrong about the source: now, i have a vague feeling that this is something that is in one of the other citations for this article. --Moonsurfatsj (talk) 13:43, 3 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a reference from a book. Also I was checking your contributions and I saw that in another article you had a British soldier, in that documentary, talk about Auschwitz. I saw that same documentary and recall that he was talking about Belsen, as the British liberated Belsen and not Auschwitz. Be that as it may, we should not be using Night Will Fall as a source, as it is not readily available for editors to check and thus is not verifiable per WP:V.

Also you erroneously added text to German Concentration Camps Factual Survey saying that the German language version of Death Mills was a separate movie. It was not. With all due respect, you really need to follow site policies and you need to show greater care in adding text to Wikipedia. Todesmuhlen--another movie, or the same as "Death Mills"[edit]

There is discussion about Todesmuhlen and Death Mills being counted as one or two films. The movies have different director, and different film editor. ("Todesmuhlen" is the German word for "Death Mills") --Moonsurfatsj (talk) 18:13, 3 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The sources are quite clear that they are one film. See, for instance, the authoritative book Holocaust and the Moving Image[1], which consistently lists Death Mills as one movie with a German version. It is true that IMDB lists it as two films, but IMDB is not a reliable source. Coretheapple (talk) 18:39, 3 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and I'll grant you that they have different directors and editors (though Wilder was common to both). Still, I am not a film expert, and even if I was my opinion wouldn't count.
