Gift editions of children's books[edit]

McKay published illustrated editions of children's books including two George Macdonald novels illustrated by Jessie Wilcox Smith, The Back of the North Wind (1919) and The Princess and the Goblin (1920). Newspaper items show that both were published for the Christmas gift season, probably in November.

McKay's Young People's Classics --maybe an official series names as of 1911, for Alice, LCCN 2012-660729
