Demise?[edit]

"It has been said that Datel in part was responsible for the demise of the home computer games market." - when did the games market die? Last I checked there were at least three Game stores within walking distance of where I live. Shiroi Hane (talk) 21:50, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The reference was referring to the "Home computer Market" C64, Commodore Amiga etc. Datel had copy devices for each of these system, Game stock(ed) Video Games systems. However even for the Playstation 2, Datel had their Action Replay which for some time was a "required" item for PS2 piracy (although this was not being referred to in the original quotation). Game as of late has not being doing so well although I don't think Datel can be blamed for this — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.186.84.150 (talk) 08:41, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
