Untitled[edit]

Darryl passed away on 8/27/2015. Lot of news sources reporting. I'm not a savy editor so I thought I'd just let everyone know so it could be added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.39.58.5 (talk) 20:04, 27 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

He went to my mother's high school. She actually suggested him for this reason, for me to use in my essay.

Young Dawkins' Self-Assessment[edit]

I happened to see an interview with Daryl Dawkins in the 70's, when he would have been about 25. The sports reporter asked Dawkins how he would rate his own skills. Dawkins replied:

"Some can, and some can't. Some do,and some don't. Some is, and some ain't.
    "I is."

NBA champion info buried in article[edit]

Dawkins needs a "Career accomplishments: NBA Champion (1989)" like other professional players of many sports have. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1010:B04F:BF1E:D449:F4C0:4741:96A1 (talk) 23:09, 23 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
