Notes on game[edit]

Here is some additional notes on this historical game - pick as use as wiki'pedians see fit -

This game was and still is quite innovative, breaking the mould of traditional flight/combat sims. The use of wireless power tranmissions towers pays tribute to Nikola Teslas radiant energy distribution system - although gameplay implies it was more intended as a play on solar power.

This; and many Psygnosis games, were early adopters with respect to shareware. With a single level taster of the gameplay available back in the 90s - where I came to know about the game myself.

Psygnosis (prior to sony's aquisition and shelving of them) inspired gameplay elements of many modern games that followed. Pyrotechnica for example; has gameplay wise been copied by numerous other space combat styled games since.

Pity it wasn't updated to newer computer technology. Which given the demise of Psygnosis Limited, and Sony's typical business model, is sad but not surprising.

Good little indy game if you can work out the controls. --203.123.90.144 (talk) 03:08, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
