I have already made a request at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests. This isn't necessary. King Prithviraj II (talk) 19:10, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Scale showing intensity[edit]

It would be great if someone can provide a scale for the "Saffir–Simpson scale" on the track figure.Wjaugustyn (talk) 14:03, 6 December 2017 (UTC) Currently the colour of the dots cannot be interpreted. Wjaugustyn (talk) 14:07, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Date format[edit]

What is this date format? Month followed by date? The article is a mess, with some sections using the standard ( date month ) and some using this ( month date ) format. Could we decide what format to use and stick to it? - ක - (talk) 16:48, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've actually gone ahead and standardized the date formats back to the one most sane people use. I hope anyone who overturns these edits will also take some time and explain why they're doing it. - ක - (talk) 16:59, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio issues[edit]

Even just a quick glance at the impact sections of the article should raise red flags with how things are worded. Large chunks of this article are blatantly copy/pasted from news articles and there is a desperate need for this to be remedied. A quick glance with copyvio tools reveals multiple sources being copy/pasted beyond acceptable levels. More than half of the article needs to be rewritten to adhere to Wikipedia policy. ~ Cyclonebiskit (chat) 17:19, 10 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Kirogi[edit]

I have today had to remove information from the article about the remnants of Kirogi. This is because, in their Preliminary tropical cyclone report on Ockhi, the IMD treats the systems as two separate systems which have nothing to do with each other.

It is to mention that there was no remnant of any circulation system moving from Gulf of Thailand that intensified near Sri Lanka and later became cyclone, Ockhi over Comorin Sea

Heading names disambig[edit]

So while I was reading the article, I noticed that there were a pair of headings saying Maldives and 2 triplets of headings saying India and Sri Lanka, respectively. They were in the table of contents. This will affect the section links, but I don't have a good idea about how to disambiguate the headings. Can somebody help? – Ben79487 (talk contribs) 20:19, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
