No attention[edit]

I see no one pays much attention to this article. I need help improving it. Anyone? Railer-man (talk) 22:57, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review[edit]

This review is transcluded from Talk:Cyborg Kuro-chan/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

I think this article has enough information for GA status. There's a boatload of references, and the pictures illustrate the appropiate sections of the article. I hated the article when I first read it, but now I think the article is well-created enough to be a good article. This is one awesome page. Railer-man (talk) 21:28, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewer: Jezhotwells (talk) 22:34, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am quick failing this nomination as it is badly sourced and very poorly written. Please read the good article criteria and only renominate when they are all met. Thank you. Jezhotwells (talk) 22:34, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hard work[edit]

Why is no one working on this article anymore? I work so hard on it all by myself, and it's hard to find refs all alone! No one pays attention to this article. It needs help, or it'll risk deletion. Railer-man (talk) 00:54, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There are lots of articles where only one wikipedian looks after it. The article has notability so it will not be risked for deletion. DragonZero (talk · contribs) 07:25, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

More episodes[edit]

Thank you for adding this . I feel like no one knows about this show . I've been adding most of the episode sypnoses lately, but I can't find anymore. Anyone who's seen the episodes, please give me a plot, and I'll update the episode list. Railer-man (talk) 00:09, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Africa?[edit]

The article says that the manga and anime were exported to countries around the world, including some in Africa, but none of the countries that are listed in the article are in Africa. Was it a case of the French release of the manga being exported to Francophone African countries? --Malkinann (talk) 21:29, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

I feel the images of Kuro without his disguise and the video game are not necessary to understand the subject of the article, and should be removed, per the non-free content criteria policy. --Malkinann (talk) 22:57, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The former can be removed, but the video game cover illustrates the fact that merchandise was released. Railer-man (talk) 00:15, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Is a picture of the merchandise essential to understand Cyborg Kuro-chan? Why this video game picture, and not others? --Malkinann (talk) 02:17, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am concerned with the image of the first volume of Kuro-chan. While we say that we got it from Kodansha's website, the version that we have is larger than the one supplied there, and it is obvious that the image did not originally come from there. Is this a problem, given that the larger version is identical to the smaller version on Kodansha's website? --Malkinann (talk) 19:32, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Episode list complete!![edit]

All 66 episodes of Cyborg Kuro-chan have been listed. All titles, sypnoses, and air dates have been added. Railer-man (talk) 01:52, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Quick suggestions[edit]

Anime episode and manga volumes should be split from main article. Anime section needs sources in some places. The expand list in the manga section makes me doubt the information and coverage of the article. The Sunblade.iespana.es link is broken. I'm sure this will come up; what makes planetebd a reliable source? A small fix also is using this to fix link redirects. No information on VHS or DVD releases? Some characters do not look notable enough to not be mentioned. Do they lack voice actors or is it you were unable to find a source for them. Failed "good article" nomination[edit]

This article failed good article nomination. This is how the article, as of May 21, 2011, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: Writing quality is fair. This article could use additional copyediting. I would recommend before going for another GAN, seeking out Peer Review, and soliciting input from previously uninvolved editors.
2. Factually accurate?: Quick fail here. Due to significant sourcing concerns raised, including unsourced info and unreliably sourced info, examples: [1] and diff
3. Broad in coverage?: Quick fail here. Volumes sect is incomplete. Other sects should not be in this main article, but spun out into sub-lists and other related pages.
4. Neutral point of view?: Concerns here, due to above concerns raised about reliability of sources.
5. Article stability? Upon inspection of article edit history and talk page, no major outstanding issues here.
6. Images?: Upon inspection of (3) image pages, all images are fair use, with appropriate fair use rationales.

When these issues are addressed, the article can be renominated. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to take it have it reassessed. Thank you for your work so far.— -- Cirt (talk) 13:28, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
