lead section[edit]

@Rosguill: I changed the layout a bit. Did you have in mind something like this? --D-Kuru (talk) 19:07, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

D-Kuru, yeah, it looks better now. Generally speaking, the lead is supposed to be a summary of the article, so there shouldn't be any content in the lead that isn't mentioned in the body of the article. signed, Rosguill talk 19:10, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It was just some random stuff that I thought would be too little content to have a seperate headline --D-Kuru (talk) 19:18, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

primary sources[edit]

@Rosguill: The primary/secondary reference issue will be much harder though. It is used in different programs by different render engines. It is used in film production more than likely even by big companies like Pixar. However, it's not something that somebody would really write a long article about. It is a usefull, but not a magic tool. It is just used in the render process to pick out different parts of the rendered image and make it into a matte. The sources I was able to find are rather rare and were mostly describing how to use it --D-Kuru (talk) 20:01, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

D-Kuru, that may just mean that we can't resolve the issue right now, as secondary sources are the cornerstone of Wikipedia. signed, Rosguill talk 20:17, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That would be no problem. I'm just not in for spending my time on WP articles that get a delete sticker because somebody decides they are advertising/unencyclopaedic/etc. --D-Kuru (talk) 20:26, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
