The translation of Страна городов in this context much better matched by Land of towns. Country of towns? Completely weird. In Russian there's no distinguishment between these 2. But they didn't mean a country as administrative world unit, but land as an area of living.

"Country" doesn't have only the political meaning, though, but also the geographic one, see Wiktionary. And "Land of Towns", although it's found as a translation too, doesn't sound more idiomatic than "Country of Towns" to me. --Florian Blaschke (talk) 07:49, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
