• Not sure if this is within "the Pope is Catholic" territory, but I doubt Linnaeus is labelled the "father of taxonomy" in his own work, which is the only one cited after the sentence?

• Since the other subspecies does not seem to be recognised today (or am I missing something), is it appropriate to refer to it as such?

the key is in the "limited" - Harrower has provisionally posited there is no difference but there was only limited sampling, so is cautious. i.e. in hte article "suggests" rather than "confirms" they are the same. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 08:28, 1 July 2016 (UTC)

there are over 3000 species and much confusion - there are a bunch of species with some purple that you wouldn't eat (Cortinarius traganus being one). I need a source that directly compares it with some other species. Will double check. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 08:35, 1 July 2016 (UTC)
