Background and composition[edit]

  • Release date here doesn't match release date in infobox
  • Giving a release source to the EP on iTunes isn't really a good source unless it is archived. Replace with this.

Final comments and verdict[edit]

  •  On hold for now, once issues are addressed. Great Job by the way, nice to review one of your articles. LOVI33 02:20, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

LOVI33 All of the issues should be fixed! Let me know if anything else needs to be fixed. DarklyShadows (talk) 03:13, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hey DarklyShadows, it has just come to my attention by MarioSoulTruthFan that Medium is an unreliable source so you should remove it. Also, Ones to Watch is under discussion as a reliable source so keep posted, you might have to remove that in the future as well. LOVI33 12:21, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • DarklyShadows, you say you've addressed all my comments but you haven't. I have added a few new ones above and commented on the ones you haven't addressed. If you do not think those edits will be good for the article, please respond why you are not doing them. Thanks. LOVI33 12:42, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Okay DarklyShadows, it looks like you've addressed all my comments for real this time.  Pass LOVI33 13:18, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

user:LOVI33 I have removed both the sources. DarklyShadows (talk) 12:32, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

user:LOVI33: I have removed ones to watch and medium and fixed the other issues.

Copycat (Billie Eilish song)Copycat (song) – Other songs had little-to-no notability before the Billie Eilish song came out. DarklyShadows (talk) 22:37, 2 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose (strongly) – some of those other song have their own pages as well, so a page title of "Copycat (song)" would be WP:INCOMPLETEDISAMBIGUATION. We don't do WP:PARTIALDISAMBIGUATION in article titles. Even if the Billie Eilish song is the most notable of the songs with the name "Copycat", it would stay at "Copycat (Billie Eilish song)" unless it somehow became the universal primary topic for the term "Copycat" (which it isn't). Paintspot Infez (talk) 01:03, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Agree with Paintspot. There are other songs with this title that have articles. There is no primary topic when it comes to disambiguated titles. You can only argue that this is primary to move to "Copycat". StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 03:32, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per Paintspot Infez and Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 03:50, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per WP:PRIMARYUSAGE. Overwhelming pageviews for this song, and a recent RfC confirmed these types of titles can still be primary topics for the disambiguated term. Station1 (talk) 04:26, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It should only be in extraordinary circumstances. This song is far from reaching Thriller (album) status. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 05:58, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That's a matter of opinion, of course, but with 96% of pageviews, I think it does reach that status. Like Thriller, it even gets more views than the article at the basic title Copycat. - Station1 (talk) 06:18, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Station1, you have consistently agitated against title policy for several years. At some point it becomes disruptive. In ictu oculi (talk) 10:16, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Just for the record, I favor current title policy. - Station1 (talk) 20:08, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Compare Hurricane (song). The Dylan song is better known than the others (and indeed better known than some of the other recording artists), but it isn't WP:PTOPIC. Narky Blert (talk) 13:15, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The Dylan song was at Hurricane (song) until an unnecessary and undiscussed move back in 2013. It should be the primary topic. And that's despite 17 other songs with WP articles (as opposed to only 2 in this case) and it getting around 70% of the pageviews (as opposed to 96% in this case).
