Issues with this article[edit]

I found paragraphs in this article not supported whatsoever by whatever references were used for them. I removed them but the whole article seems plagued by this so I'm just going to add the template for these issues instead. For example, one paragraph mentioned how Putin's government has been labelled totalitarian and other accusations, with the sources not having any mention of them. Another example is how somehow a source from 1998 is used to talk about Crimea and other recent events. The language used suggests POV pushing. Clearly there is original research, a neutrality issue and more citations are needed to support what has been written. Mellk (talk) 00:33, 1 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Another issue is that it takes for granted that liberal economic policy is a core conservative value – that only makes any sense from a US perspective, where it is an artefact of the US two-party system that has forced the conservatives and the libertarians to share a party.
