When renamed?[edit]

When was the "Coos Bay Bridge" renamed the "Conde McCullough Memorial Bridge"? Was it in 1947, when the article says it was "dedicated" to McCullough?108.246.205.134 (talk) 23:13, 26 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

The bridge has been named the Conde McCullough Memorial Bridge since 1946, and so was only called the Coos Bay Bridge for 9 years. It has borne it current name for 71 years. I almost removed entirely the old name, but in the end left it. I also removed the Hanis language comment "danisich" as it makes no sense that I can see.
