Land sale lawsuit and purchase of another high school. Aboutmovies (talk) 10:58, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

They've also bought all the houses to the north- Liberty to Dekum Streets- and are in the process of removing them to add an athletic field (according to the campus map). It'd be nice to find mention of that. tedder (talk) 19:11, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's in the main article I used from The Oregonian (<ref name="expand"/>), but it says it is an alumni who bought and is moving them to SE Portland. I'm not sure where to work it in though, as it could easily go into the athletics, campus, or history areas? Great job getting the pics up, too bad it wasn't a nice sunny day for your bike ride. I was in a hurry to get over there and back, but yeah, the houses did look like they were going to be moved, not destroyed. I'll have to look through that O source and see if I can add it in there. Glad to get some pictures. tedder (talk) 22:00, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Tribune search, with some sports, maybe something on the sports complex, more sports, the throw center, and early construction info. Also Oregonian search. After a quick look I think their library and athletics are notable enough for separate articles. Too bad their wasn't a nice list of famous alumni somewhere, as I couldn't find much last night. campus[edit]

There should be information about what happened to the school's facilities when it closed. Kdammers (talk) 17:59, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This article said the church was planning on selling the campus: Concordia U. at Portland Will Close at Semester’s End (chronicle.com) Kdammers (talk) 18:04, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Closure - also[edit]

It’s Time to End Higher Ed’s Gimmicky Sales Tactics (chronicle.com) gives a different explanation for the closure. Also, see Concordia U. at Portland Will Close at Semester’s End (chronicle.com) Kdammers (talk) 18:02, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
