In Spanish[edit]

When it comes to military and knighthood orders: comendador (caballero comendador=knight commander). As a military rank: comandante (it ammounts to Mayor). In early colonial Mexico and Peru: encomendero (a Spaniard settler in charge of an encomienda -commandery-, with a number of natives as workforce)(unwilling workforce, I presume).

Poland missing[edit]

Shouldn't the Order of Polonia Restituta also be mentioned, since it has a Commander's Cross? BasileusAutokratorPL (talk) 17:05, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
