Note to Potential Editors[edit]

This page is maintained by senior staff members of CCI. We are applying the KISS principle.--Scriptor Rex (talk) 23:13, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove cited items and replace them with uncited items. If you have a citation from a reliable source for inmates sleeping on floors, feel free to add it. The Wisconsin Department of Corrections does not own this article, but feel free to used officially published documents to cite changes with. --Dual Freq (talk) 03:32, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not modify this page. Staff who actually work at this facility are the sources. Some of the content you have added, particularly with respect to staff members, is inappropriate. This is a reference page for the institution. This is not a gossip sheet. Go play somewhere else.--Scriptor Rex (talk) 13:09, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Requests such as Please do not modify this page. goes against core policy and is not likely to be listened too. Wikipedia functions by basing its articles on reliable sources and all editors are supposed to be welcome to contribute. Editors that are in any way connected to this organisation should think very carefully when editing this page as they could have a conflict of interest. Bear in mind that although articles must follow the Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons policy, as this encyclopaedia, not an advertising area, articles are supposed to give fair coverage of a topic, which means organisations and people, may not always be presented purely in a favourable light if reliable sources allow this.
This article at present seems to be based on primary sources, rather than secondary sources (ie third-party, not directly linked to the organisation), and articles are supposed to be based on the latter per Wikipedia:Reliable sources. Camaron | Chris (talk) 15:13, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

We're done. Have at it. The concerns listed in the protection denial regarding conflict of interest/ownership are groundless. Inmates sleep on the floor at this facility. The truth is out there. Wikipedia muzzles it.--Scriptor Rex (talk) 17:56, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would be interested in hearing on why it is the case that the conflict of interest/ownership concerns are groundless, they seem to be quite justified given events and what has been said on this page. I also give no apologies for denying a request to protect the page, as doing so would have been completely against the spirit of the protection policy. I think it needs to be emphasised Wikipedia functions by verifiability, not truth. If you can provide a reliable source for the sleeping on the floor issue, it can be included. The same applies for everything else. Camaron | Chris (talk) 18:25, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiproject Prisons[edit]

If anyone is interested, I have proposed a new Wikiproject concerning prisons here.--Cdogsimmons (talk) 16:57, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
