Ideologists is such a wimpy noncommital word. I would settle for "maoist leaders of the 1970s" which is factually accurate and therefore maintains NPOV. --Corto 01:19, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Not to get bogged down in political discussions, how about "paramilitary leaders"? I would say it's pretty hard to argue with that given that even the IRA is described as a "paramilitary organization" in Wikipedia. --Corto 01:22, 3 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment[edit]

I have upgraded this school to top importance on the strength of its internationally important alumni. The article needs referencing to support its claims. Such an important school deserves a much better article. Please tell us more. Dahliarose (talk) 14:35, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Attention[edit]

I made two changes:

1) I deleted Daniel Barenboim for two reasons: a) because there is no record of his graduation in the list of alumni ("ex-alumnos" search engine), and b) because according to his biographies, during his teenage years he lived in Israel and Europe. Unless someone has a firm piece of evidence that he attended CNBA and graduated from it, he should be left out.

2) I added the name with which Lalo Schifrin is known in the "ex-alumnos" search engine (Boris Claudio Schifrin).

Wouldn't it be suitable to mention that Jorge Luis Borges was a professor? The source of this info is my recollection of a professor who was also an alumni mentioned that and told stories from back then. I am starting to believe that the anecdotes that we students were told about Borges being an English teacher and/or an English Literature teacher must be false. I was told this story by a professor too, but not only do I not find any reliable source to verify this story but it does not even fit J.L. Borges' life, he would have had to be a teacher at a time when he was already a successful writer and that seems unlikely.
