Does the issue of Woman's Weekly cited actually suggest his hemorrhoids are a reason for his irrasibility in interviews or does it just say he has them, because if that is the case then the conclusion that he was rude to Ben Cook in Doctor Who Magazine 391 is original research and is discouraged. --GracieLizzie (talk) 13:12, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm wondering about the quotation marks around short illness. At one time the phrase "died after a short illness" was euphemistic phrasing for suicide. I haven't seen anything indicating that such was the case with Swift. Sca (talk) 14:21, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
That quote has now been trimmed. It's merely quoting the statement in the source: "The actor died on Friday morning after a short illness, a representative told The Independent." But I think perhaps the quotes marks could go altogether. Martinevans123 (talk) 15:25, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Martin: The quotes are gone, but short illness still is there. I looked in the sources for info about the nature of the illness but didn't find any. Suggest we simply drop "following a short illness." It's better to say nothing rather than employ a phrase that may raise unfortunate questions in the minds of his many fans.
