Done I have used a different reference, but added this information in both the article and in the lead. The infobox must stay as Real Sociedad until 1 July, as he is not a Barca player until then. Arjayay (talk) 16:15, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Claudio Bravo has not won the Champions League[edit]

Accordign to UEFA rules, a player has to appear in at least one match to be considered a winner of the competition. Claudio Bravo has not played even 1 second and thus has not won the Champions League, the fact that he has a winner medal does not change UEFA rules, UEFA organize the competition and is the only authority on who is a winning player. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.0.98.94 (talk) 14:25, 9 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

there is a clear reference stating he has won uefa champions league according to the official club who had won it , where is the source from www.uefa.com ? I looked for what you have said but couldn't find it can you provide a reference other than just rumors  ? and it is weird to say someone who had a medal doesn't make him having the honor...If the uefa has this rule how did they give him the medal at first place? Adnan (talk) 14:31, 9 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
There are plenty of articles today that say he and the other players with no minutes in the cup has to give back their medal, http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/european/thomas-vermaelen-told-to-give-back-his-champions-league-winners-medal--as-he-didnt-play-a-single-minute-in-the-competition-10307356.html, http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/447010/Barcelona-Thomas-Vermaelen-GIVE-BACK-Champions-League-medal-Arsenal-news, http://www.elhincha.cl/noticias/reglamento-uefa-le-quitaria-la-gloria-a-claudio-bravo/, http://www.futbolchileno.com/2015/06/08/segun-la-uefa-claudio-bravo-no-es-ganador-de-la-liga-de-campeones/, http://www.90min.com/posts/2245265-arsenal-miss-out-on-vermaelen-bonus-after-he-s-forced-to-return-champions-league-medal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.15.111.22 (talk) 17:10, 9 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
they are from a source called ( voetbalkrant.com ) read the article ! UEFA didn't mention anything about it. and Barcelona official website has listed all players you have mentioned as winners

http://www.fcbarcelona.com/football/first-team/staff/players/vermaelen http://www.fcbarcelona.com/football/first-team/staff/players/c-bravo http://www.fcbarcelona.com/football/first-team/staff/players/douglas-s

so If the related club is saying they have won it, unless official UEFA website says otherwise all this reported articles doesn't make sense . look how many things have been reported before and end up nonsense and start from Alves signs with Ac milan or man united and end up extend his contract with barcelona .Adnan (talk) 18:58, 9 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Claudio Bravo himself confirming he was ripped of the medal http://www.foxsportsla.com/noticias/203713-claudio-bravo-no-tenemos-ninguna-presion?country=es — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.39.7.184 (talk) 21:06, 9 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I don't speak Spanish sorry, but is he saying UEFA asked him to give his medal back? OR he is answering a question for someone from the media asked him about this matter ? I really looked up at UEFA.com about this and nothing mentioned about this! and he is not the first goalie to be benched the whole competition without playing a minute (most back goalies do) and all other teams list them as winners ! and again an official website clearly stating he has won it and they put it under his name as a winner so yeah it is a well sourced piece of information the same player even himself tweeted a pic of himself having the medal https://twitter.com/C1audioBravo/status/607384961679814656/photo/1 thank you for trying to make wikipedia accurate thoughAdnan (talk) 22:20, 9 June 2015 (UTC).[reply]
here is the UEFA regulation about :;(http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/Regulations/uefaorg/Regulations/02/09/88/17/2098817_DOWNLOAD.pdf) medal section 5.04 :
Forty gold medals are presented to the winning club, and forty silver medals to the runner-up. Additional medals may not be produced.
nothing mentioned about playing minimum minutes or not , and they left it to the club to decide .and Barcelona official website says he has it. Adnan (talk) 21:47, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
This news is based in a news of UEFA that talk about footballers with more final played. In this notice doesn't appear Xavi Hernández, when he had 3 Champions League until 2014, because he did played the final of 2006 but he played another games of this season.--Vivaelcelta {talk  · contributions} 03:56, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Claudio Bravo (footballer)Claudio Bravo – Per WP:TWODABS, the footballer is by far the more notable. 96% of traffic is for him.[1] Unreal7 (talk) 13:07, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: That is certainly a lion's share. But footballer Bravo is still working, still alive, and at the moment is working in an English-speaking country. That could mean the fame is fleeting, but Wikipedia is not a crystal ball and there's always the opportunity to revert if the two traffics even out in decades time. On Google Books, "Claudio Bravo Morocco" yields about one-and-a-half times as many results than "Claudio Bravo football", so the painter has more importance there. Harambe Walks (talk) 22:25, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose as @Harambe Walks: says there's an element of WP:CRYSTALBALL at work here. WP:RECENT as well. "Claudio Bravio" in books overwhelmingly refers to the painter so clearly has a better claim on the second part of WP:PRIMARYTOPIC than the footballer. In cases where Two subjects both can claim half of Primary Topic, i.e. where there is no primary topic, WP:TWODABS allows just that, TWO DABS, as examples in guideline. Ambiguating one of them is also going to knock out the dab bot and accumulate mislinks. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:05, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Per the evidence, clear primary topic among 2 notable topics in a WP:TWODABS situation.--Cúchullain t/c 18:23, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Vandelism[edit]

Article's been protected with vandalism still there. There' something about being a fisherman (lol), saw it on the Man City reddit page posted 3 hours ago. Might want to change it soon... DJBay123 (talk) 21:46, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

EDIT: I've just removed it but not sure what was there before hand if someone could add it there please. DJBay123 (talk) 21:48, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

2014–15 Champions League[edit]

I know that some users have already tried to add the 2014–15 UEFA Champions League title to Bravo's Barcelona honours list, but others have removed it; I am aware that Bravo did not play in the competition, as ter Stegen was the club's starting goalkeeper in Europe, but shouldn't he still be a Champions League winner if he was a squad member? I know that other reserve players and goalkeepers in the past still earned a Champions League medal without playing in the competition, as they were in the official squad list, so I wanted to check what other users thought about this and get their opinion on the matter, thanks! Regards, Messirulez (talk) 17:17, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

you need to ask on the project talk page, as it usually end up differently in conclusion. To me, add a footnote (unused squad member) or some sort may sufficient. But just like 40 Premier League medal and 5 appearances would 100% get the medal, first team player with or without a medal totally an original research (Chelsea did not have 40 first team player but Eduardo did not have an appearance, he may have a medal or not?)
For Champions League, i need to search the youtube did Bravo went to the stage and have a medal on his neck. Matthew_hk tc 17:28, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Seem he had a medal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3potfenY1A Matthew_hk tc 17:37, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
