André Mollet was not the only familymember who helped him in his effort to create a dynasty of (garden) architects. Claude Mollet 'used' his eldest son Pierre Mollet, who lived outside Paris under the pseudnym Pierre Monjoie (Monjoye). Pierre was put to work by Claude Mollet at the development of the gardens of the palace in Holland, Honselersdijk. The idea of builging this palace came form the pricess douariere of Orange Nassau, Louise de Coligny. She ordered her son Frederic Hendrik of Orange Nassau to buy the necessary grounds in 1610. After the conclusion of the buy in 1612, Louise cam back to Holland in 1613. She intruduced the son of Claude Mollet as Francois Mollet, in order to keep the wife of Pierre, Radegonde LeMercier save in the city of Liege, where she was hiding for the French inquisition, because the name LeMercier was known as a Hugenot name. 159.180.28.62 (talk) 22:23, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
