Name[edit]

Recently, an anon ip added new content saying that the station was renamed to "Civic Center / UN Plaza Station" [1]. But I reverted it because I have not yet seen or read any news or press release saying that the station itself has been officially named (although UN Plaza in San Francisco did in fact open up). The closest I came was an article on the Examiner's web site (http://www.sfexaminer.com/articles/2005/05/13/news/20050513_ne04_newsom.txt) that it was rejected back in May. I have not seen anything about the station's renaming from the Chronicle, BART, or any other third party source. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 08:26, 1 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The actual station signage says Civic Center/U.N. PlazaCholgatalK! 23:24, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Station Layout - Entrances[edit]

Under station layout and changes, the article currently states "A passageway to two additional entrances west of 8th Street and Hyde Street was opened later.[6]". However, the given reference doesn't support this claim, and I've been unable to find evidence elsewhere to prove that the entrances weren't original to the station design. 1967 plans don't show the west-of-8th entrances: mezzanine plan, street plan. I can't find any definite proof one way or the other at the moment, but I'll keep looking. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 02:57, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
