The previous text stated that Parliament had, uniquely, declared something off-limits. This is not really accurate. Parliament's theoretical supremacy and unlimited power was not changed by the 1921 Act. The Act repealed all existing state regulation of a particular matter.

With respect to Scotland, Parliament does not have supremacy or unlimited power (theoretical or otherwise) as confirmed during the MacCormick v Lord Advocate case in 1953.--MBRZ48 (talk) 23:43, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Scottish Parliament's competence over the 1921 Act[edit]

and prevent the Scottish Parliament repealing the Church of Scotland Act.

I cannot find anything in the Scotland Act 1998 that restricts the Parliament's competence to repeal or amend the 1921 Act. Can someone point me in the right direction?
