dating of the church[edit]

Wouldn't a dating to the sixth century be more probable? If David of Thessaloniki lived between 450-540 A.D., I don't see how a church dedicated to him could be any earlier than the year of his death... Lwangaman (talk) 15:34, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Churches are sometimes re-dedicated. The mosaic Icon of Christ of Latomos is supposedly 3rd-century. Johnbod (talk) 18:33, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
