CB Award[edit]

It is stated he received "an Honorary CB" in 1856. This would surely be incorrect; honorary awards of British orders of knighthood are only made to people who are not British subjects. Teesdale would have been a British subject from birth as he was born in a British colony (which was later part of the Republic of South Africa in 1961).Cloptonson (talk) 20:22, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stub - needs infobox, can find at WP:WPBIO. Turn list information into sentences and coherent paragrahphs. Turn dates into February 11, 1999 style not 2/11/1999. Wikilinks for some of the info in that section as well. Probably enough information to turn into Start class. Use footnotes to tie facts to references.
